Ann Ellis is a director and Grant Lake Corporation Mineral Resource Manager & Landman, She is a Major Stock Holder in the company. Prior to joining the company, She co-founded Diamond Gold Corporation (DGC) in 2000. DGC was acquired by Grant Lake Corporation in 2017.
She has 18 years experience in remote field operations, air logistics, road construction, prospecting, sampling and mine planning and development.
Ms. Ellis is a Field Prospector and Landsman. She assisted in perfecting discoveries at the PGE, Monazite, Sable and Fire Brick claim groups, preparing field samples for assays and decipher analytical data, preparing claim rental, annual labor and reports for state agencies.
Ms. Ellis provided geological, and mineral resource sampling, testing, analytical input as well as mining and recovery planning for the Kahiltna Placer Project Feasibility Report. She supervised the development of mineral resource estimating procedures and field sampling, testing and analytical procedures. She supervised field personnel in carrying out the exploration activities in the Diamond Gold Corporation land assets in the Yentna Mining District in Alaska.
Ms. Ellis was responsible for supervising research of historical geologic, discovery, prospecting, claim ownership, claim filing, claim access, historical exploration, development, production, and reclamation data for Diamond Gold Corporation for the last two decades. She performed claim prospecting and staking in early discovery and exploration activities for lode and placer mineral resources including gold, silver, copper, platinum, palladium, diamond and gem stones. She is the Qualifying Person for various exploration and mineral resources estimating reporting for Grant Lake Corporation.
Ms. Ellis interfaced with Alaska Department of Natural Resources Mining and Land divisions and supported preparation of the Application for Permits to Mine in Alaska (APMA). She coordinated development of detailed studies for Corp of Engineers for wetlands crossing, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) for camp water and septic systems, and other agencies as appropriate for mine exploration and development activities.
Ms. Ellis provided logistics planning and infrastructure development planning supervision for Diamond Gold Corporation in the Yentna Mining District and was instrumental in qualifying the Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserve Estimates for the Fire Brick Lode Mine, Sable Mine, Kahiltna Placer Project and the Lake Creek Placer Mine.
Ms. Ellis coordinated the Grant Lake Corporation acquisition of Diamond Gold Corporation for DGC and is now the Mineral Resource Manager, Director and major Shareholder of GLC.
